Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between Botox and Filler?
Botox blocks nerve impulses in the muscle to help smooth dynamic wrinkles caused by repeated movement. Fillers add volume from under the skin, filling out areas that hollow with age, or filling in lines and wrinkles.
Do you offer Home Visits?
Yes! Our concierge services and parties are available throughout Rhode Island. Contact us to learn more, or book your at-home appointment today!
Is Botox safe?
Absolutely. When administered by a medical professional, Botox is very safe to inject into specific facial muscles. Despite this, possible minor side effects can occur, including pain, swelling or bruising at the injection site.
Is there anything I need to do to prepare for my treatment?
Before filler, we recommend stopping all NSAIDs like aspirin, Advil, Aleve, and Ibuprofen at least 12 hours before treatment to reduce the chance of bruising. For Botox, stop NSAIDs and alcohol consumption 24 hours before treatment, this can help aid in less bleeding and bruising.
*All treatments and patients are different. Duration of results may vary by area treated, anatomy, and other factors.
